What a lovely heart shape, bought the mold from LA Outlet store last November！
This cake is made specially for Britney's Godma Ling Foon。。。to commiserate the fact that LF has a new god daughter Britney (wonder if LF knows what she has gotten herself into), heeee....shhhhhhhhhhhh.......
真失败的四合一的蛋糕，失望，沮丧，快变成沮丧抑郁症了！！！Too greedy, wanted to put four of my favorite recipes and put into one cake with a new technique too.... Result: BEEP， NEXT。。。。
Bottom is walnut brownie, then baked NY cheesecake, on top are checkered honeydew and strawberry mousses. What went wrong? The brownie and cheesecake were not cooked, just creamy, not solid. That cheesecake recipe was supposed to be from Hilton Hotel, argh. argh. argh.... Should I try again?

ReplyDeleteThe cake looks good from the outside. Shouldn't you have removed the green top from the strawberry?
And the checkering? Color looks good but the combo? Not sure.
Did you bake the brownie first and let it cool before you baked the cheesecake?

ReplyDeleteYeah, really great for many occasion. LF has adopted Britney as her Goddaughter and bought her a nice diamond pendant too for the occasion, lucky Britney, another one to bully...
We like the leaves on the strawberries, always leave them on to show how fresh they are, hee. The combo was supposed to be contrasting, but the pink is JUST off, argh. Anyway, just want to learn the checker effect.
