薑蔥鯇魚 Braised Fish with Ginger & Onion
鯇魚在新加坡是好少有,好難買到架... 薑蔥鯇魚, 我特別鍾情的魚魚健康食品~~
Underneath this mountain of green onion is one whole LIVE grass fish, meaning it was LIVE and no longer of course, heeee.... It is so rare to have live fish here in Singapore until recently. Nowadays, we eat live prawns n clams n crabs n fish... really living it up. So you people in HK, count your blessings that you have live seafood all the time.
Anyway, this braised fish with ginger and onion sauce is one of my favorite. When I saw that breathing fish in the market, I thought of this dish and my mommy's instruction. Voila, as nice as I remembered it...
