木糠蛋糕 Macanese Pudding Cake




今朝一早送完Britney返学,就赶回家做今晚的甜品...

自从在澳门食过正宗的木糠布丁后,回来念念不忘,今日就整俾家人吃吧! 当然晚餐也要配西餐,不然唔三唔四,成何体统! 鱼柳配薯条,可以吧!


This morning made this Macanese Pudding cake for tonight's dessert. Ever since I tasted the real thing in Macau, have always wanted to make it for my children who didn't go to Macau with me. When i bought the pudding for my colleagues to try in Macau, they all loved it so much, really yummy!

To complement this Portuguese dessert, made Fish & Chips for dinner! Can't say I didn't put enough thought to it!

    Me too, but only can eat at home as I use Canola Oil to fry, unlike the ones outside don't know what type of fat X)

    Macanese pudding was created by Macau's ex Governor's chef who made it for the Governor. It is cream in between layers of Marie Biscuit fine crumbs.

    CC says after cheesecake, this has to be his 2nd favorite dessert because it is light and not very sweet (I used icing sugar instead of condensed milk so not so sweet)...

    Yeah, Blue Rain was the one who recommended me to eat this ORIGINAL dessert in Macau, never heard of it before...

    Only warning is if you don't want it too sweet, better don't put so much condensed milk. For myself, I didn't put any at all and I used two flavors(choc/original) so it won't be too rich (my daughter prefers it this way). You try it, very easy to do and a big hit to kids if you freeze it hard XD.
