Grandma Dearest 廚房 -- 红豆年糕

 

 
this is homemade sweetened bean paste

在美國同媽咪一齊做左這個年糕,唔錯唔會好甜,新年可以做來送禮。

红豆年糕
1.5 cup sweetened red bean
1 cup sugar
2.5 cup glutinous flour 600 gm 
1 cup water 
A bit of oil
 
Method:
1. Mix red bean , sugar and water together (put in 3/4 first)
2. Add in glutinous rice flour n stir
3. Add in a tbsp of oil and check consistency , should be a bit soft but not runny. Add in rest of water if needed or more (depends on how watery is your bean paste)
4. Put in oiled pan to bake 
5. Bake 170 degrees for 45min , check for doneness

    1. yes, it is low sugar and very nice. I tried two more this weekend with coconut added, also very nice.
