Mommy Dearest 廚房 -- 金瓜忌廉湯 Cream of Pumpkin soup

healthy soup (without cream version)
in season now

pumpkin, celery, onion, carrot, fennel
roast @ 180 till golden
boil all with chicken stock till soft
use a blender
blend
return to the pot of soup
cook till smooth, add more stock if too thick.  Add cream before serving (optional)
