岁月催人老 Another Monday
一刹那就是星期一,再过四日又是周末,再四个月就过年...再计下去,我真不知我做了什么,只希望每曰过得有意思...
碎碎念,算了,看这豉汁凤爪,是今晚晚餐的主角, 还煮了绿咖哩,煎鱼,炒菜及人参鸡汤...囡囡要大考了,Bryan又要考Prelim然后就O level了,要饮多些汤水补一补.各主内姐妹,记得为他们代祷...到十一月底才考完呀!

To all my sisters in Christ, please remember Britney and Bryan in your prayers everyday till end of November as Britney has started her A level exams and year end promo exams; Bryan is having his prelims and O level will only ends on Nov 20. Keep them in your daily prayers please.....
Up there is what we ate for dinner tonight...love that chicken feet...feel so HK dim sum

ReplyDeleteI do most of the cooking when they are having exams. Just the other night, my daughter said the food is better when I cook, heee. Of course must show my support mah..

ReplyDelete豉汁凤爪very nice, even my children love it because they ve been eating it in dim sum restaurant since young.
Method
1. a packet of chicken feet, trim nails and cut into two if preferred
2. sun dried for a couple of hours
3. deep fried in oil till the skin pop out a bit (do they sell fried chicken feet in HK? If do, then save a lot of work and skip to next step)
4. pound half a bowl of fermented black bean, a bowl of garlic, a knob of ginger and some chilli if desired.
5. In wok, put some oil and fry the (4) till fragrant
6. put in fried chicken feet and stir for awhile
7. add some rock sugar and one piece of dried "mandarin" skin (gum pei), half bowl of oyster sauce, a bunch of peppercorn
8. add water till cover the chicken feet
9. adjust seasoning, can't be too salty, add more sugar if necessary
10 cook to desired tenderness and taste again, add cornstarch solution to thicken the gravy
11 Before serving, put green onion and dash of sesame oil on top.
