Pho Bo is one of my family's common favorite, so that is easy...
When I went to Ho Chi Minh last year, ate many times of this beef noodle there in hope of tasting the authentic Pho in its native land. Personally, I find the local ones very oily and not as tasty (had it in various hotels and restaurants); guess I was just too opinionated... or personal preference prevailed.

Yes, the dry ingredient has the unique spice that you are looking for.
